Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with operations and leadership to ensure equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and a safe working environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests in a fast-paced distribution setting. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with others are key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from operations
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and safety
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly document completed work
- Support general building maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical background
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, basic machine repair, and building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage scope of work and prioritize tasks effectively
- Minimum of 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a distribution, warehouse, or industrial environment
