Job Summary:  Our client is growing and looking to add to their team. The Activations Specialist is responsible for onboarding new customers and ensuring a smooth, successful implementation experience. This role serves as a key point of contact during account activation, working closely with customers, internal teams, and third-party partners to deploy hardware, configure software, and confirm processing readiness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide new customers through the onboarding and account activation process
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone related to implementation and setup
  • Download, deploy, and troubleshoot credit card processing hardware
  • Assist customers with installation and training on software, gateways, and hardware
  • Manage and coordinate all third parties involved in account onboarding
  • Monitor account activity to ensure successful transaction processing
  • Provide training and support on reporting tools and system functionality
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer journey
  • Create and maintain repeatable onboarding processes, resources, and frameworks
  • Manage daily tasks and prioritize work to meet customer and business needs
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service at all times
  • Update and contribute to the internal knowledge base
  • Perform, organize, and streamline operational tasks to reduce errors and improve efficiency
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities and duties in a dynamic work environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude with hardware, software, and troubleshooting (not required)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented with a process-improvement mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
