Hotel Housekeeping

Michigan Staffing is seeking candidate’s with an outgoing and positive personality to join our housekeeping team. You will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms as well as maintaining the hotel lobby, stairwells, elevators, corridors, etc. Employees are responsible for following company standards of cleanliness and interacting with hotel guests in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
Empty trash containers
Clean bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub and floor
Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris
Vacuum carpet in guest room, polish all baseboards, ledges and corners
Report any damages or maintenance problems to the supervisor
Assist with re stock of all linen, towels and room supplies in floor housekeeping closets
Assist with restocking room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies.
Requirements:

1 year of housekeeping experience in a hotel
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to read English
Must be able to pay for parking

9am-5pm must be able to work weekends
3pm-11pm must be able to work weekends

Salary: $16.00 per hour
