Job Summary: Michigan Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and adherence to all traffic regulations.

Shift: 9am – 5pm M-F

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Trucking Driver Type: Company driver
Trucking Route: Local

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles (Box Truck) to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of items.
  Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.

Requirements: 

• Previous experience as a truck driver
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
• Proven ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Valid Chauffeurs or Class B license is required.
