As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I am reminded of the incredible journey that led me to co-found Michigan Staffing and Aspen Search Group in 1989. Building this company from the ground up was no small feat, but perseverance, passion, and a steadfast belief in the power of female leadership fueled every step of the way. Today, as a Women-Owned Business (WBENC) and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) certified organization, we stand as a testament to what women can achieve when given the opportunity to lead, innovate, and inspire.

The success of our company has always been driven by people—both the businesses we serve and the employees we place. As a full-service staffing and recruiting firm, we are committed to improving lives one placement at a time. This mission would not be possible without the talented women who make up a significant part of our team. The dedication and expertise of these women shape the foundation of our company and elevate the businesses we support. Their contributions are invaluable, and today, we take special pride in recognizing their impact.

Over the years, I have witnessed the resilience of women in the workforce—women who have navigated challenges, shattered glass ceilings, and redefined industries. I have faced moments of uncertainty, but I have also learned that leadership is not about having all the answers—it’s about forging ahead with confidence, surrounding yourself with the right people, and never losing sight of the purpose that drives you. At Michigan Staffing and Aspen Search Group, we are committed to championing the success of women—whether through hiring, career coaching, or mentorship.

On this International Women’s Day, I celebrate the achievements of every woman in our company, our community, and beyond. To my fellow female leaders, professionals, and entrepreneurs—your perseverance and dedication inspire change. Let’s continue to uplift one another, challenge barriers, and pave the way for future generations of women in leadership.

We recruit, prepare, and retain great talent.
