Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance with industry regulations. A strong understanding of quality management systems and relevant standards is essential for success in this role.

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm, occasional overtime

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 DOE

Position: Full Time, Temp-to-hire

Duties:

• Perform routine incoming/outgoing inspections and testing of products to ensure compliance with CGMP and ISO 9001 standards.
• Collect and analyze research data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to verify product specifications.
• Fabricate test samples as necessary for quality assessments.
• Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise measurements are taken.
• Document findings, prepare reports, and communicate results to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions when quality issues arise.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control measures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a quality assurance or quality control role to be considered
• Ability to read blueprints/mechanical drawings.
• Ability to do basic math (including fractions).
• Use various measuring tools, equipment, PPE
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to stand, bend, stretch, pull, lift 25lbs.
