Our client, who develops and delivers the highest quality and best value lithium-ion electrolyte is in need of Process Engineers at their Northville, MI location . This position is a long-term temporary position with the possibility of direct hire.

The Process Engineer is responsible for the on time manufacturing of customized, high quality, lithium ion electrolyte with zero safety incidents.

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00/HR.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produces custom electrolyte formulations using varying methods based on customer requirements.
• Maintains physical inventory.
• Determines and maintains all levels of production supports supplies.
• Ensures process equipment is fully functional by performing routine maintenance.
• Assists in resolving all product-related quality issues.
• Performs all tasks according to standard operating procedures.
• Follows all company, industry standard and OSHA safety procedures, including equipment safety and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Supports other departments, as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field required.
• 1-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Must have knowledge of chemical safety.
• Knowledge of safe hazardous material handling policies and procedures
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and lift or move 50+ lbs.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
