We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys hands-on work involving die repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

As a Tool & Die Maker, you will play a critical role in maintaining production uptime and supporting quality manufacturing operations.

Hours: 2nd shift
Pay: $40.00/HR.
Position: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:

• Perform die repairs both in the press and in the tool room
• Complete preventative maintenance on metal stamping dies
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling, electrical, pneumatic, and nitrogen systems
• Weld and fabricate materials used in die maintenance and repair
• Operate overhead cranes to safely move and stage dies
• Machine materials and components associated with die repair and maintenance
• Identify root causes of tooling issues and implement corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency

Qualifications:

• State-issued Journeyman Card OR minimum 2 years of verifiable experience working with metal stamping dies
• Strong experience with draw dies and transfer die processes
• Welding experience including:
  • GMAW (MIG)
  • GTAW (TIG)
  • SMAW (Stick)
• Experience operating welding, plasma cutting, and oxy-acetylene equipment
• Strong understanding of machinery setup and operations
• Experience troubleshooting tooling and production issues
• Strong mechanical aptitude and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skill
