Our client, a leader in industrial spraying technology and equipment, is seeking a regional manager for the southeast region of the united states.
Location: Territory includes Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina, or North Carolina. Must reside within the territory with travel ranging from 60-75%
Salary: Base salary 75K – 125K plus commission, bonus potential, car allowance, and a cell phone stipend
Job Purpose
Support the company’s existing products and services in the designated region and increase the sales of units, replacement parts, and technical service directly with end users (primarily the Automotive/Tier 1 Market) and through development of the company’s channel partner network.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Strategic Growth Manager to implement the company’s strategy to capture market share in automotive OEM and tier suppliers in the designated region.
- Maintain and grow existing business.
- Weekly call reports utilizing company CRM.
- Weekly visits with end users and channel partners to identify quotable opportunities to sell products.
- Report progress through weekly one-on-one meetings.
- Build relationships with key players and industry partners.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in industrial, automotive, OEM, or supplier environments.
- Understanding of the Automotive/Tier 1 market.
- Proven success selling capital equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of fluid supply and dispensing systems.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Sense of marketing, business development, and urgency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- High emotional intelligence and accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (60–75%).
- Valid driver’s license and strong organizational skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
Working Environment & Physical Requirements
Extensive travel with exposure to industrial environments, prolonged standing/walking, lifting moderate weight, and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
Safety / HSE
Ability to identify and respond to dangerous situations and implement safety actions.
