Overview: Our client (Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan) is seeking dynamic and outgoing individuals to promote Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan programs at local schools. In this role, you will be traveling to local schools and meeting with parents and teenagers, promoting the benefits of joining GSOA. Ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and able to deliver engaging and informative presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Speaking & Presentations: Deliver engaging and informative presentations and games to groups of parents and teenagers, highlighting the benefits and opportunities provided by our programs.
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and teenagers to encourage participation and support.
Program Promotion: Effectively communicate the value and impact of programs, addressing any questions or concerns from prospective participants.
Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of outreach events and informational sessions.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and program enrollments. Utilize software tools to manage participant information and communication.
Qualifications:
Outgoing & Professional: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Public Speaking: Confident and articulate in speaking before groups, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
Software Proficiency: Ability to utilize IPAD
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to work Monday through Thursday, 4 PM to 7 PM, from September through February.
Job Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (September – February)
Hours: Monday – Thursday 4pm-7pm
Pay: $25/hour
